In this experimental course, we push the boundaries of traditional image-making by transforming photographic prints—on paper and fabric—into sculptural forms. Using techniques such as tearing, crumpling, stitching, folding, gluing, and shaping, you’ll learn how to create vessel-like structures that blur the line between photography, sculpture, and fiber art.
Rather than treating photographs as flat, finished surfaces, we explore them as raw material—capable of holding tension, gesture, memory, and meaning in three-dimensional space.
